Ticket
The ticket message, the close question, channel names, roles for the owner and the private staff thread.
The Ticket group shapes a single ticket: what it says when it opens, what it is called and who gets which role.
#Ticket message
The first message in every ticket. It carries the Close and Claim buttons. Use it to greet the member and say what the team needs to know. The default mentions the owner with {ticket.user}.
On Free, messages have one embed without fields and up to 250 characters in the content and in the description. Premium allows 4,000 characters, ten embeds and fields. See Messages.
#Close question
Shown when somebody presses Close and two-step close is on. It carries the Cancel and Close buttons.
#Channel names
Premium. The name of a ticket while open and after closing. The defaults are ticket-{count} and closed-{count}. You can use any variable, for example {ticket.user.name}-{count}.
Discord lets a bot rename a channel only twice in ten minutes. If a ticket is closed and reopened quickly, the bot skips a rename instead of waiting.
#Roles for the owner
Premium. Roles to add to or remove from the ticket owner when the ticket opens, and when it closes or is deleted. A common use is a Waiting for support role that a lock on other channels depends on.
#Private staff thread
Premium. Creates a private thread inside every ticket where the team can talk without the owner reading along.
- Thread name,
staff-{count}by default. - Add the team automatically mentions the support roles in the thread, which adds them.
- Members may invite others lets people in the thread add more people. Off means only thread moderators can.
The bot needs Create Private Threads and Send Messages in Threads for this.
